questions

I'm just planning a bot build and need these questions answered please :)

1. Crow Caw or Spirit Forge? In other words, +2 stat points or +20 defense?

2. What percentage of block is enough to indicate the use of a shield? I don't know if 57.89% would be enough.

I use crow caw to get my weapons then switch to spirit forge. The +10 con outweights.

I use a shield when your block is over 60%. Training with a shield gives more exp.

If you don't know if a shield is better than 2 weapons with your current block just sim them against each other, because you can't really tell just looking at a percentage. Some builds have less than 50% block with a shield, but using that shield is still better than 2 weapons.

What Alan said for armor choice. Spirit Forge for fights definitely.

I'd say use a shield even at 55% block. Just don't forget to take into account of the extra defense a shield yields.

With freaking, occasionally I find myself using shields even with less than 50% block because it still comes out better than using two weapons. i think you have to just try and find out which works best for you. Trial and error.

It depends. If you're fighting weak bots, don't use a shield. If you're fighting strong bots, use a shield. Equip when you get 55%+ block.
