I actually quite like this idea. |

The only use would be for when you wan't to whore your bot and equip the weakest possible weapon. This is allowed, but I don't think Ender would want to encourage whoring by making it easy to see what is the weakest usable weapon. |

The forumlae are available to view anyway so if you really wanted to check what you could equip down to you still can. Making them red or even a different colour like brown (lol) would just keep you informed about what your weapon/armor 'range' is like. Plus if you want to break a bot, it's very easy anyway and only changing the formulae to have more strict guidelines would really make an impact on whoring. |

I actually encounter this problem when building bots en masse, they end up at an absurdly high level to have literally no armors and only mauls or something. I have to train them and gradually upgrade equipment to something decent, buy I have no idea if the highest thing I can afford is something I can equip or not. |

I like this idea. It isn't that hard to figure out what the worst weapon you can equip if you really want too. |

I like this. The weapons you can't equip due them being to weak should appear the same as those that you can't equip because you don't have the stats for them. |

Is legitimately trying to equip an item but not being able to due to min requirements actually a problem? |

Whoops, by min requirements I mean the stuff that doesn't let you equip really crappy stuff for your level. |

Is legitimately trying to equip an item but not being able to due to min requirements actually a problem? In certain unusual situations, yes, I have encountered this. Extremely weak bots, bots that have racked up repair costs the the point of no return (Can't train kudos, weapons both at 0%), etc. In those cases, I have to sell what I have. Sometimes, with the goal of buying weapons in mind, I sell a certain armor and buy a cheaper one, only to find that I can't buy any weapons that I can equip with the leftover kudos. |

In most cases this might come off as minuscule and meaningless but in those cases such as neps has illustrated, this would be hugely beneficial for us. |

so do you reckon this will happen then? |

Possibly, but it won't happen until later. Ender wants to do an overhaul on the entire showroom. Spruce it up and make it more effective. He might incorporate something like this into it. |
