It would be cool if you could go to the online list, click on someone's bot, and a button would appear in the profile give me the opportunity to attack.

This wouldn't really be necessary, given that there's only an average of about 23 people online at a time, not to mention most of them would be out of your level range. Would be considerable if there were 200+ people online at a time. |

Attack button on profile: yes. Attack button on online list/special for online bots: no. |

Well it would only be useful for online purposes :) |

The system is designed to discourage onlinine attacking. That's why there isn't a fight link when you get the "your target is currently battling" message. So I doubt Ender would implement a button for onlining people. |

Would be fun to have if you were really pissed off at someone though. :) |

Well, it doesn't appear as if that kind of behavior is advocated; and there is hardly ever enough players online to take advantage of it. But, I'd love to go online - click on there profile - then attack them. |

There used to be fight links in bot profiles a long time ago in bots2, but they got removed because navigating to a bot profile in a second window while training/fighting in another gave you the 'Learn to aim' message in your training/fighting window iirc. Or maybe that was only if you initiated a fight in the profile window. Either way, I can't imagine this would be too useful for players who play in more than one window, which I imagine would include most active players. |

Lol, you know it just seems like it would be a way to get back to the roots of the game. We've all been there: need kudos for that fancy new piece of armor in the showroom? Just find someone online and take them. But, all the development in the game went to enhancements that din't improve the actual game, but helped prevent cheating. All because people bitched, and whined. Now we are stuck here. |

I'm not against adding fight links to profiles, but it would require redoing some of the security stuff to avoid the "learn to aim" message. A bit of related discussion in my reply here: http://bots4.net/forum/7/3418 |
