Kind of a fighting arena where you can have special training bots only for the clan-members. Could be used for dropping special unique armor/weapons too.
Use clan treasure money to unlock and maintain different tiers. Like :
* Tier 1 = 10k/hr, 50k to unlock
* Tier 2 = 50k/hr, 500k to unlock
* tier 3 = 500k/hr, 5m to unlock

additional ideas:
- Dungeon bots could drop special charms/ores/rune fragments etc.
- Charms could be changed for stat points
- Ores could be changed for special armor/weapons
- Runes could be used to imbue the special equipment with different stats
the exchange rate of charms would be something like 1000 blue charms for one int point with the drop rate of 0.001, same for rune fragments.
stats for a rune could be something like:
maybe with a possibility to combine different fragments to decide the combination of stat enhancements.
The type of ore would determine the type of armor/weapon, like:
- 100 bronze ore for a bronze dagger (damage 10-15, str 20 dex 10)
- 100 iron ore for an iron dagger (damage 25-35, str 40, dex 20)
etc. etc. you get the picture i hope.

This is a pretty damn cool idea, I like how the drop rate of stat increasing items (would that be permanent or like augments that could be switched active/inactie somehow?) is so low, but needing 1000 may be quite high. In all my years of playing DII I've not found any items with chances less than the hundredths place at my recollection.
Parts of it are close to what Ender wants to eventually explore implementing.

Buff: Nagelring Essence: Increased chance of item drops.
Level I - 150% increased chance.
Level II - 200% increased chance.
Level III - 250% increased chance.

True. I would have hardcore playing times, not constant playing for the whole 10+ years it has been out if so then I would have a completed item list :)

the drop rate and amount of charms (that would be the stat increasing items) is ment to be hard to get and hard to change because you wouldn't want people to rush up their stats with this.
on the other hand, the rune frags drop/required numbers could be changed to more favorable amounts since they are used like gems/runes for socked items in Diablo 1/2 (or so i imagined it). you should also have the opportunity to replace any imbued runes in an item with a new one, not recollecting the one that was in the weapon/armor.

I could see something like this being the place were you would get the random stat gear that ender is interested in implementing. It would need a bit of refinement, tho'.
