You will either love or hate this idea and i know Ender has a lot to do on bots atm so im just wondering what people think..
Ok so basically you would get a choice of little missions to choose from e.g "go 1000 battles undefeated", "score (x) energy in the next 24 hours" or even "drain (x) energy from a top 10 clan" and so on. Only... you would have to buy entry to these missions with trophy points and if you are succesful you win a prize of obviously more trophy points and if you fail, you guessed it..you get nothing.
There could be different difficulty levels and also different entry prices/prizes. Im sure getting trophies for completing a certain amount could work too.
Anyone? :)

I'm surprisingly supportive of this, but it would need to be balanced extremely well, as to be worth doing, but not a requirement

Yes thinking about it maybe the trophy point entry price is a little unfair on newer players who might not be able to complete certain missions as easily as pro plaers e.g having dumpers to reach the 24 hour energy target, or they might not have enough tps to justify buying the entry with them.

I'm generally in favor of variety/flavor to an otherwise repetitive game. This would indeed need to be carefully balanced. I probably won't get to this for awhile because there are a few other significant projects lined up.

+1 something else to do. Also some training ones would be good too, not just wins or scoring ones.

By chance, I was actually thinking about some sort of daily quest system or something to help provide some day-to-day variety. I haven't thought too much about what it would include, and therefore don't know how much work it will be, and therefore don't know where it fits in prioritywise, but stay tuned for something potentially at some point in the future. :)

I could've done 445 daily quests by now if Ender had implemented this since he talked about it last.
Tsk tsk. Mind you I don't really know what the point would be. Maybe gain 1,000 energy and get a daily reward of 500 free? Something small I suppose.

I guess Ender has a real life outside of Bots and doesn't have the time to spend on his once seemingly favorite hobby/pass-time.
Shame on you Ender for having a real life and for not spending much time here.
At least he stops by on a regular basis, not like the original game master floR who never showed...
I'm just happy that Ender is keeping the game running like he is (as in paying for the server costs, etc...) Oh well, can't have everything...

Cleaned up the thread a little, a suggestions forum should be for suggestions-related stuff. If you want to rant about how much you hate something, take it to misc/your therapist.

Oh like Pirate's post was so much less off-topic than mine Fishwick. His doesn't talk about the suggestion either. My first one did though. So good on you for looking pedantic. My post wasn't even that hateful. It was just a different way of looking at things. If anything, you referring I should go to a therapist is much meaner than anything I said.
I really wonder how you ever got to be a moderator. You are clearly not cut out for the job. But be it on me if these posts aren't just swept under the rug to fulfill a quota about keeping the suggestions forums to suggestions when none of our suggestions matter. You're silencing nothing because NOTHING WILL EVER HAPPEN. This suggestion will never be implemented so why care about a made up rule when all of this is non-existent anyway? I guess it just gives you a platform to hate on me. So good for you for keeping up appearances.

This game has like 1 moderator now other than the administrator. Where did everyone go? :P Anyway, the game is fine the way it is atm. The only change I would like I have already suggested in the other thread. Everything else is just fine and dandy. Also, the game is for clicking ' fight again ' and showroom ' refresh ' it is not for clicking other links. I am only interested in fighting and training and tournaments myself, but each to their own. ^^

However slowly they come (I agree they should come faster, for what its worth), Suggestions do matter. Tournaments was a suggestion which revitalised the game a little bit, Category 2 split was a suggestion, the new armours were a suggestion. They are much less likely to matter if every suggestions thread is filled with how lazy Ender is. You can rant about Ender all you want in misc/complaints, as they're for that, but just keep the chat here suggestions related. You agreed your second post wasn't related to the topic, so it didn't need to be here.
Pirates post was pretty much entirely a reply to your deleted post, so thats why that couldn't stick around as it wouldn't make sense. For what its worth, I also deleted a relatively pro-Ender comment from Obelisk Tormentor as it also didn't make sense, once the context was lost.
Now I have to leave these comments up for this to make sense, but please just keep this forum suggestions-related from now on. Feel free to mail me or start a different thread in misc/complains though. Agreed the therapist thing was mean, couldn't help myself.
