So just a simple idea I was tossing around in my mind. From Cyborg LX on have the train bots give energy on win but losses lose energy at half the rate similar to the current energy system.

Cyborg > X-Extreme 60 energy max on win : 30 Max on loss

Ultra X > 70 energy max on win : 35 max on loss

Scorpion X 80 max energy on win : 40 max on loss

DE buffs do not work at all.

At a 100% win rate X-Extreme for instance trained 1000 times a day for a 31 days would give 1.86mil energy. Its highly unlikely someone can win 100% of the time vs it much less do 1k trains a day (30s train is 8.33 hours to complete per day) You could go lower for guaranteed wins at the cost of xp which is unlikely for most trainers.

Energy could be scaled to lower numbers was just a thought for energy options for higher level bots to contribute to clan races

makes more sense to scale these 2 down a bit easier wins

cyborg at 40 / 20

triple x at 50 / 25

I'm not against the idea of having PvE energy-gaining options in general, but it would have to be very carefully balanced so as not to obsolete the existing ways of gaining energy and cause too much game disruption. I'm not sure that a simple "gain X from winning, Y from losing" approach can accomplish this, though I do have some old ideas about PvE floating around (some partially-implemented even) that are probably worth looking back into.
