I think whoever has gone incognito to post this is a little unfair, although his progress in August was mindblowingly quick it is still very possible. He hasnt been caught cheating before (that i know of) and there is no evidence to put against him untill Ender maybe does what he does to catch cheaters idk... But he should be allowed to sell the bot in my eyes.

Priceless isn't the same player that was busted cheating with wannabe?

Wannabe was never busted. The bot was locked by Ender and only few people know why

Everyone: don't accuse anyone of anything you can't know. Hearsay isn't proof.

Only Ender can (and he does) check the game for cheaters.

Also, anonymous posting is really lame.

I clarified what the anonymous post meant. If I was wrong, the same anonymous person can tell here what he meant then. I did not accuse anyone just for record.

Then, Pothead said the owner wasn't caught before. I said it was, because he used Alan's autoclicker with Wannabe (maybe for just once) and that's why that bot is locked. If that's not cheating what is then? Use the autoclicker for one month atleast? One day? One hour? If the autoclicker was used with Priceless I don't know and I can't know it. Only Ender and the owner of Priceless know that.

I said he hasn't be caught before that i know of, but if he been caught before i dont think he should be allowed to log on nevermind sell a bot.

When a bot is caught cheating, any bot that has that IP on it as the last IP, Ender locks all of those bots. So if they're the same person, then you are saying he had the intelligence to keep a different IP on this bot but not the intelligence to not get caught using a clicker?

this thread says differently.

& to clarify inkas/wannabe/priceless are one and the same person. Who, according to the thread above, has been busted for cheating.

pothead's point is that he does not think that a known & busted cheater should profit in any way from this game. & I must say I completely agree with him.

I asked Ender to lock Wannabe, because I tried auto clicker when Alan gave it to me, after that I tried it and I report it to Ender about it, I told him who were using it and just because I wanted to stay anonymous I asked him to lock my bot as well and don't tell anyone that I gave him the info. I never was busted for cheating, I did a favor. Think what ever you want, but if not me, probably some other players will be still using it, because it was google extension with auto-captcha as well.

When you think about it from that light, he did the game a favor.

He should be able to do with this bot as he pleases.

He should be booted from eternal and have his bot locked as pothead says he shouldn't profit from the game

Wow eternal how stooped low, accepting scammers and now encouraging the sale of bots which have apparently been cheated on.

I think the only person who can have the final say in this though is Ender, it's his decision.

tl;dr: Carry on, but as always, you do so at your own risk.

Wannabe was indeed locked mostly for the reasons PRICELESS claims. I didn't dig too much into the extent of his own cheating because it was a moot point (he owned up to it). Either way, PRICELESS was built well after that whole ordeal and for better or for worse, there's currently no rule against convicted cheaters returning to the game(*). I know some have doubts about whether PRICELESS itself was cheated on, but there's currently no proof of this.

Also, agreed that anonymous posting is lame. If you have something to say, put your real name behind it.

(*) Don't interpret this as me personally being okay with this. This policy is much more a matter of the difficulty (read: time-consuming nature, not technical difficulty) of enforcing bans against individuals motivated to get around them. If I could snap my fingers and have it be so that an actual human is banned (this isn't possible, I mostly have to deal with IP addresses and known associations, i.e. it's a very manual task), that would be so. I've decided it wasn't worth my own time to play cat-and-mouse, but I would eventually like to build tools for some game admins to handle stuff like this. That requires building said tools though and I'm currently more interested in building, you know, actual game features.
