Hey guys, do you think dex bots should use special armor, or should they focus of getting the highest defense armor available to them to screw with the str bots?

a good dex bot already screws str bots over :)

I would say that you should try get 65-70%block, and at the same time keep your absorb/con as high as possible.

They can't do anything against 120 blasters.

For dex bots -> Minimum strength to get best armors you can get. Constitution around your level if not a little more, unless you are rushing for a better shield.

since the initial question is still not answered: You should mainly focus on the unique armours, unless the gap on defense with the highest armour is big. This is not often the case, but it does happen at around 110-160 str (see build suggestions in the other dex threat for instance) in which case i would go for higher absorb. Definitely go for uniques when chooing your helm, gloves and boots

I'm just trying to figure out if I should go with the unique that give me +3 con +4 dex, but only 30 def, or tte one that only gives 4 dex but 120 def?

It doesn't matter how strong you are. If you can't hit it with your blasters then ye ain't gunna beat it. Thats just the way it is so deal with it...

dex bots are wierd they'll beat the crap outta a bot one day and git owned the next so armour up with strong armor (not bounus) and shield up thats the way i was taught :)i like bal bots

@ajgr23 if you can wield both weapons and armours with the higher defense armour: go for that one. It probably increases your defense rate with 5-10%. That's a lot :)
