When using a shield, does each block trigger a roll for damage to the shield? That is if say my block w/o a shield = 5% and with a shield = 50%, does the roll for gear damage occur every time I block or is it only 90% of the time (since 5% = 10% of 50%)? I guess it would make sense to roll only 90% of the time given that the other 10% would be just regular blocks that any bot w/o a shield could achieve.
If you have insufficient funds for repairs, do partial repairs occur? So if I had 100k kudos and needed 110k to repair my gear completely, would my gear be partially repaired by using up the 100k kudos, or would I need to get 110k kudos in order to repair my gear at all?

Don't know the answer to question 1, but there are no partial repairs. If you can't afford the repair then no repair is done. |

Afaik, there is no 5% left once you equip a shield because the block chance of the shield only adds to the basic one. As for the second question, I have experimented it myself, having all items to 0% condition and a repair cost of 700k, and with around 675k I wasn't able to repair any of them. |

Hmm. I don't think it is totally fair for dex bots regarding the shield damage. Maybe change the chance of the shield taking damage to incorporate the 5%? Simple adjustment as follows: Current chance to take damage x (total blockchance - 5%)/(total blockchance) = new chance to take damage Not much of an effect on fights but technically more correct and fair. |

Dex bots never had it good tho.....not even in bots2. the only time you saw a good dex heavy bot was the ones who were training at lvl 200+ |

Changes introduced could either downplay the role of armor, decrease STR's effect in computing damage, greatly increase defense given by shields, just to name a few. |
