You probably have to give the ownership to someone else before you can do it. Not too hard to implement I believe...

I see now that in clan list there is also name of the founder so for example I found a clan and quit it does my name remains in clan list ?

you have to promote someone to your rank.

no, your name will stay as founder but you wont be a member
