Delete is something Ender doesn't want. It can mess with the forum code and a few other things.

If your bot is gone and you have the newest post in a thread, the newest post is gone, etc. Searching for a deleted bot in posts is also weird.

It's to keep you from exploiting the GOLD reset trophy :P

Just to make my stance clear on this, bot deletion is tricky because virtually all of the codebase assumes bots will never be deleted. There are obviously ways around this though, so I'm not against adding this feature. It would just be a lot of work for something I consider relatively unimportant though. So it will likely come eventually, but it's very low priority.

Would it be easier to code if when you reset your bot you had the option to change either your name or bots name?

I don't follow. I won't be allowing name changes in any case. They're meant to be permanent markers on a bot's identity.

I can see that with an username but not so much with a bots name. I not really in support of bot deletion in any case, just the thought popped into my head.

i guess it should not be added but can be requested. i lot of trash bots that i want to be deleted since those just add up to the database and serves no purpose :)

ender why dont you stop lying and tell the truth for once. u have no intention of ever adding a delete function.

in fact u have no intention of ever doing anything to fix or improve this game. it has been unfinished for a decade now and that tells the entire story about what u will or wont do. y dont you at least finish the game.
