Not saying some of you are addicted. But what makes us sit and stare at text for hours and hours. Few pictures here and there, but essentially we are clicking links to change some data in a database.
What do you feel makes you keep playing, and invest money into games like Bots4?

Honestly, I really don't know...but I've been botting since 04, so now I just don't question it. The game does become a little boring for me from time to time, but I guess that's bound to happen when you play on average for six hours every day. Whenever it happens, I just take a break for a day or two, and it's right back to being fun when I come back :) With trophies, personal goals, as well as clans...there's plenty to keep me occupied and happy with the game. |

I took a break for a few weeks after Xeldier and Xeldier2 stalled. Then I came back to it and started doing clan stuff and this leveling bot. |

I play this game because at work I often have two to three hours a day to do nothing, but because I am at work I cannot play SWTOR or other "higher graphics" games. I also started out gaming on Zork and other text based RPGs so I'm used to and like text based games better than graphics. This game is easy to play, hard to master, and easy to port (or play from anywhere) which makes it a success in my book. I also really enjoy the community (been playing since 2005.. or was it 2004?) so I've been around most of these kids and scrubs for some time... also where else can I run into the sexy Dragon Summoner? |

For me, it is without a doubt the fact that you can play it while working/doing other stuff, while still maintaining a decent level of productivity, both in the game and whatever else it is your doing. |

What I like the most about this game is that shit players do not get rewarded... I will always come back because of it. |

For me (with bots2), I'd say it was a combination of being able to do other things while playing (other games, movies, etc.) and the community. |

Good reply's guys :) I always find a good community keeps a game going. If the players get disillusioned the game vanishes. |

i agree with the general consensus of it being easy to multi-task. also, not too hard to play when baked. |
