questions

there where pictures for armor and weapons and shields that looked like they were stolen from diablo 1 and 2. when will we see pictures in bots4?

I'm not planning on adding them.

any reason its something i always kinda liked

Why put in the effort for them when he can work on other things that are more important to the game?

i didnt say it was priority i just liked it and want it to come back

I don't remember paying much attention to them myself in bots2, so I figured it wouldn't be missed.

It has to do with the pictures being diablo's. They are theirs.
If Ed uses them and makes money off the game, with out diablos consent, he could get sued.

to Ender: from your point of view how difficult would it be to add pictures to the armors and weaons? not creating the images i mean just embeding then/ attaching them to the info on each weapon and armor?

to Everyone else: dependig on how difficult it is to attach or embed images to the info on items, i.e if its fairly easy or simple then mabey ender would be inclined to add images to things if we all made the graphics for them instead of ender having to slave for hour on paint :P team effort guys =D

It's a text based game, but a little decor would be nice.

If I had the images, it would just be an issue of going through the 674 items in the game and tagging each one with an image. I'm no artist though. Maybe a project for later...

well gess the reason for you missing the images is simple. you havent played bots enough:p
each time i click on an item i still see the image. like heavenly garb (blue) and goldskin which looked really cool:D

the pictures were only really there for the lower levelled armour and weapons

i like the idea of maybe having people make images for the items by possibly rolling it into a comp for best pictures.

But anyway a comp just for the showroom item pics isnt really a good idea, screw the pics.

i like the idea of bringing pictures back but it is just polish, work on the importaint stuff :D

yea definently agree theres more important stuff to do :P i was just saying if it was something to be done then it would be good if we helped out with making the images :) i like the idea of a little competition
