I had the same problem when using an old version of IE. It's probably best to play with Chrome.

Upgrade to IE8 or better, upgrade to Chrome.

dont use ie its crap and will always mess up on bots even ie8 messed up on mine

Many will disagree, but in my experience, Firefox > Chrome > IE for bots4.

I like Firefox better as well. Although in all fairness I've barely used Chrome at all.

Let's just agree that Internet Explorer is like the Wii of consoles.

Can you give some examples? I haven't tested on IE8 in awhile, but I do aim to support it.

Oh and make sure you're not talking about IE8 compatibility mode, which (mostly) behaves like IE7. There's a button to the right of the address bar to toggle this.

everythings alright now ender what ever you have done its worked and the only faulty thing on it now is the box in the top left corner it doesnt show nothing

That means it's working. It's not supposed to show nothing, it's supposed to show your botname, level, wins, losses, ratio, etc.

i was using ie but i have changed to chorme most people suggested it

I just spent 20 minutes or so looking at the bot name not showing up in the HUD in IE7 (IE8 compatibility mode to be exact), but wasn't able to fix it. Cursed float/positioning bugs. I gave up, but someone else can feel free to pick up the torch on this if they'd like. I'd be one very happy administrator if someone were to patch it for me and save me the headache of dealing with IE7. :)

Yeah, because I like playing in IE over Firefox. Chrome > IE > Firefox. Yeah I hate Firefox that much I prefer IE over it.

Today I accidentally turned on the compatibility view of IE version 9 (button besides the refresh button) that caused me some bugs.

I was experiencing the same bugs that leader2 described here. It didnt show my bot's name in HUD and when I mouseover the buffers, their window appeared behind the home, online and hall of fame links.

I remembered that I saw these bugs somewhere in the forum but didnt how what words I would use to search for it. I started searching in bugs thread (obviously) but didnt find it. It took some time but I found it (the last post of this thread was 27 days ago). When I was re-reading, this solved my problem:

Moral of history: I put some work finding something I needed before making a new thread.

Beginners tip: doing a forum search can be very useful!

I didn't have to go searching through the forums, thank what ever deity you pray to, and happened to notice that the compatibility button on the browser was pressed. I clicked it again and it solved my problem when I happened across it.

Side note, very nice way to use the search box that everyone else seems to forget is there.

What I should really just do is add some sort of browser-detect feature that warns players on older browsers that things may not work properly, with details on how to go about upgrading to something more modern (and a warning about IE compatibility mode).

Ender, setting { top: 0; left: 0; position: relative; } on the div containing player info seems to work for me, doesn't put it exactly where you want it, but it beats nothing, so you could just target it with an ie7 hack and do that

about showroom issues, I recently bought a smartphone (his brand is my telecomunication operator and the phone was made by ZTE). The OS is android 2.3.

When i play bots with it, whenever I enter the showroom it crashes. I cant pop-up the equipments and I even cant load other pages (or I have difficulties doing that).

My question is if I have to install anything or its really a problem I cant solve?
