Is there any reason some math wizard can't collect a shit load of EPH data (1.00 offset of course) and work out an estimate of how EPH is calculated?

You can get some hints if you comb through past announcements and my forum posts. I'm sure the basics are out there somewhere listing what the variables are how they affect EPH (logarithmic vs. linear, etc.).

And I don't have a super strong math background, but to answer your specific question of why some math wizard can't collect a bunch of data and reverse engineer the formula/an approximation, I believe it is because 6-dimensional curve fitting of a formula with mostly-unknown structure is difficult, even for computers. :)

It's actually a pretty simple formula.

EPH = 60

Sorry if I sounded salty, I didnt meant to. I was just improving your EPH formula calculation. I wanted to say that only bots with very low ratio or energy offset close to 0.00 have the 20 EPH. For example, after one full rape with my dumpers, some still have the 60 EPH even with a energy offset below 1.0. So I dont need to demote/promote them...

i know it ranges from 20-60, i was just be facetious because its so easy to max it out and close to 95% of the people in the top 100 all have the exact same eph regardless of their varying ratios, levels, wins, and offset.

Yes, having a column in the HoF showing the EPH doesnt make much sense now...
