i used to play in bots2, and i was wondering if the overall xp system has changed, it seems that i used to get a lot more xp per win over trainer without the trophy system in bots2 than i do now without trophies, or even really with it. i could be mistaken as it has been a while but im not sure.

unless your using the 25% exp buff + not 15-250% I don't see why you should have a problem getting more exp :)

He asked if the xp calculations are any different than in Bots2, regardless of xp-buffs.

On edmazur.com/bots/game_formulas.php, it says the exp rates can be off by 2/4/8 etc.

The exp gained may be slightly different. If anything, it's faster.

you no longer get the extra hit that you sometimes got on bots2. damage inflicted is part of the xp formula so it affects the xp awarded.

ah that makes a bit of sense

It should be roughly the same, but as pointed out above it sounds like there are some small discrepancies.
