I've been asked if I want a tablet for Christmas, sounds daft but if it doesn't play bots I don't want it. Does anyone here play bots using a tablet and does it work well? All my friends and family have stuck to their laptops and computers.

Both an android tablet or ipad will work fine for Bots.

Yep, the game should work just fine with any relatively modern mobile device.

And I don't think I've repeated it recently, so I'll share again my (current, always subject to change) philosophy on mobile for this game. I still don't plan on developing any platform-specific apps, but instead aim to make it accessible in all browsers so that it can be played on any modern platform. A handful of workshop options are available to help where the desktop -> mobile transition doesn't work too well, so please let me know if any other issues arise.

Playing a tablet is great, if you only play on one bot. But yes, it works well.

I think certain Android tablets like the Galaxy Note 2 can split the screen and have 2 windows. So that would be ideal if you play more than one bot, OP.

Obviously i've played on my mobile and it didn't work, was worried it would just be a bigger screen version of that mess :p

I've not had any luck getting a second bot in on the iPad yet, lots of dual browser apps but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get two bots on at the same time :(

depends on the app i would have thought, if it clones the browser you will just get two browsers of the same bot, would need multiple browsers to do 2 i would have thought, unless there is a browser app that has the same function as Multifox.

I've looked but no luck, tried lots of search variants but coming up empty. May have to resort to a split screen app and run some sort of proxy.
