questions

I am curious if defense actually does anything during battles. I just fought terminatrix (2x my level), once with my normal armour (140def), and once with crappy armour (10def). Both battles went very very similarly. Is this just me? Am I wasting money buying armour that doesn't actually do anything?

Armour increases your absorb and defense rating. This will gradually be less dmg. Whilst the dmg you get/do is random somewhat, you cannot see the effects right away, but it does help.

Furthermore later on armour are mostly used for their stats points, the unique "White" armour have stats that will help you to get weapons earlier than normally possible.

Lol, I know how unique equipment works. =D I was just wondering about the hard defense stat.
