Grats on winning 17 months against virtually no one making the game more boring than it already is, more inactive and much less attractive to all the long term players who have left in this period not to mention ones like pirate haven who have put in maximum effort not to stand a chance of winning. What a mess his game is now, I would advise anyone who currently plays to get on with your life and not play with these bellends like everyone outside of escapism pretty much has.

Virtually no one I guess would include yourself then Pothead? In any case, your statement is very disrespectful towards the great scores that have been put up by rival clans over the last few months, especially the ones in October. Taking the past few months into consideration, this is the most active the game has been since 2014.
Incidentally, October was the highest scoring month when taking the top 2 clans into consideration since Eternal set the record for monthly energy in March 2014. What will you say if we break that record this month too? I'll bet it's something along the lines of,'Oh, you guys have built up so many resources over the years, that means nothing too'.
I guess if you can't win, might as well deride the quality of the opposition's wins so they can't enjoy them, right? Better also discourage other players from playing too to further diminish their satisfaction. Sorry to break it to you, but some people actually play this game for fun, not necessarily to beat us. Although I can see why that would be your perspective, and how our success would torment you as a result.

Don't mind me but I must admit the game has gotten very boring. I tried playing a few times the past few months but every time I try I just get so damn bored looking at hyperlinks. The main "fun" of the game is in the clan race or playing with builds and what not. And not getting mad at people in either of those is pretty hard :P
A better way of putting this is the game is in a "2001-2017 New England Patriots" phase. A clearly superior team has been formed that uses some objectionable tactics at times and only focus is to win, even if they are trying to beat themselves. Do they get reprimanded? No, not really. The game is built around the tactics they use so why should they? So essentially you'll see them always on top of a division or winning Super Bowls all the time because they don't really care about "fun" at all. Unless your "fun" is deriding other players and being cheap, but hey, you're playing the "game" properly.

Congrats on the win and the win streak. This game is a marathon and not only have you successfully won 17 marathons in a row, you're on the precipice of setting a new record for consecutive victories. I am very impressed and I know exactly how difficult sustaining that level of commitment can be. Kudos to all of Escapism, especially all those gentlemen that have been at it all the years I was active, plus all the years since I left. My hat's off to you all!

You know Zal, I was about to draw a parallel between Pothead's initial post and your own typical response any time something negative is brought up about the state of the game, but I figured I wouldn't drag you into it. Nevertheless, here you are anyway unsurprisingly. What would our 'objectionable' tactics entail may I ask you? Attacking 'your' public energy whores? Using dumpers? Using freaked builds? Just about the only thing you could make a case for is real wars, and your old stomping ground PH was a greater perpetrator of this in October than we were and that still didn't help them win. If you want to try to degrade the quality of our wins just like Pothead, please put up the evidence or say nothing at all.

I dont understand why anyone can be mad at escapism.
Eternal was the exact same back in the day when they dominated the game. Its competition. For god sake. Grow on the loss and go for another month. If we keep losing we clearly need to put more effort in.

You need to buy lots of dumpers mr retirement and I mean lots, then you're going to need to buy lots of tps an then you're going to have to hire 5 Chinese paid gamers for the month to no life as well as escapism do, oh and then you're probably going to have to play 70 hours a week yourself.
I still log in because I like speaking to the odd person on here and I do still play from time to time when I'm extremely bored but just for an hour or so in a week maybe nothing like I used to because the game is utter shit now.

And thats what escapism have done. So kudos to them... i myself have a pretty impressive amount of dumpers already just needing more to continue eberyday.
