depends what your situation is. I always go with higher defense if i dont need the stats... for example on my pure strength pot i always go with dex gear to offset the missing. But my balanced bot i always go highest defense with con etc... |

Vampirebone gloves: 15.5% Absorb over nothing equipped in the hand slot Bloodfist: 8.24% Absorb over nothing equipped in the hand slot Difference of 7.26% Absorb. Bloodfist also gives you +4 con, which equates to 40 additional hit points so if 7.26% of you're total hit points (without any gloves equipped) is more than 40, then go with the vampirebone gloves, otherwise the bonus to con from the Bloodfist will outweigh the lower absorb % According to my calculation you would need to have more than 550 hit points for the vampirebone to be better than the bloodfist. |
