Hello guys. I used to play the older versions on a regular basis during my school days, and then lost the time and patience to continue doing so. I've now re-joined the Bots craze and would like to get back into the routine of playing it. However, all I used to do was train, fight, buy new weapons etc.. You might think, yeah, that's what you're supposed to do? I've never actually put any logic into my play, and didn't have any clear targets or builds to aim for.
All I'm asking is if anybody is willing to give me a few hints in the right direction as to what to do, logically. I've recently registered (currently Lv.4) and I want to know what is the best way to distribute my points. I want it to have tremendous strength but also a decent block ratio. I'm a little unsure as to what route to follow, so any help would be brilliant. I think I'm aiming for Scarab Blades at Lv. 30.

That's kind of saying you want a dick and a vagina. You can have "tremendous" strength and max block, but at higher levels where you have more stat points to work with. I guess you could go balanced. Shamshirs, heavy cutlasses, dark cutlasses, scarab blades are weapons you could aim for. The 2:1 ratio STR:DEX path should be okay as well.

2.3:1 could be even better, you know, the build where you encounter such gems as blackrazor, conq axe, answerer or excalibur :-P

Joking aside, I'm actually neither. I have a lot of background within information systems, mostly network management. I have some programming knowledge, but it's very limited. I recently switched my focus and am currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice.
