This is after redis the INT from 20 so I could have Solars without having to wait 2 more levels.
 

A better shield would be the first thing.

You'd already be at max block with a dragon shield, so yeah.

 

Should I go for pains or serpents?

 

Or would drills then add STR and armor be best since it would be quicker?

 

Thief knives are between solar blades and skull drills, just so you know. I would go for pain needles personally (they're the best pure dex weapon imo), and then transition into winding serpents/tantos.

 

Oh I should add you can get blade catchers before pain needles. They're awesome too.
