Hello, I am fairly new to this game and have just been keeping all stats equal but now as I'm getting into the higher levels my bot is starting to lose a lot.

The bot is level 32 and all its stats are 41. (str,dex,con,int)

I think I need to specialize into something like strength because I am seeing a lot of bots that do that but I need help with what to specialize in or how to change my bot.

The more INT you have, the weaker your bot will be.

Also, having all stats equal will surely make a weak bot. Having STR and DEX relatively equal is okay (balanced bot) but having CON too high will make a weak bot.

If I were you, I'd try to get some unique armors, and get heavy cutlasses. (42 STR, 42 DEX)

41 int at level 32 is going to make for a weaker bot, most "fightning" bots have only 10 base con giving them 32 points to put into other stats. If you have any redistribution points, you can take some int out and put it into str or con. I wouldn't add any more con for quite some time (Most of bots ~80 have 45 to 60ish base con) After you get the heavy cutlass that neps mentioned you could two different builds: Dark Cutlass (49 str and 51 dex) then scarab blade (60 str and 58 dex). Or add nothing but str and get gothic axes (115 str and 29 dex) followed by holy swords (136 str and 57 dex)

I have the heavy cutlass now. I was thinking of going for a rapier and then a shield? But I'll go with the builds you mentioned.

I wouldn't recommend a shield yet.

Then what would you recommend?

A weapon. Two weapons actually.

I have the scarab blades like you said neps, though is there some points I can redistribute? My bot still seems to lose alot.

redis INT into STR and CON (or STR and DEX if going bal)

also make sure you are using uniques

I have trellised armor, heavy bracers, sharkskin boots and a death mask.

Ya, use uniques. They are rare but a full set gives you at least a few levels of stats. Look at the armor list [http://edmazur.com/bots/armors.php ] to see which ones you want to get.

use them to get weapons you don't have the base stats for, then change em to get max con (last bit is optional, also it's a lot easier with stars)

Ok thanks guys, I'll watch out for uniques. So can I just keep putting points into str and dex for a while now?

There are some levels where you want to use a non-unique body such as trellise armor.

it depends on the build, but yeah don't always rely on uniques. especially if you've got a dex build :P

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but what gives my bot more health?

CON, in the workshop. Each additional point in CON gives 10 more hitpoints.

But a lot of unique armors grant CON bonus's so you don't have to waste distribution points on CON. You can grab some CON bonus armor and use those precious 4 points per level on STR or DEX.
