And FYI: Blood Bather boots are better than anything around till u get Blood Seeker (in some cases these can be better), and non-unique body armors are WAY better than 120ish uniques... (This applies till you are able to get Iron Pelt at 160str)

Unless in some cases, where Skin of the Flayed one is actually better, better than Goldskin actually, and definitely better than the non-uniques, despite it's low DEF. Must be the +7 CON. Someone with a red name showed me this fairly recently.

its one of those armours that nobody used in the days before freaking (read: Bots2) and hence every still seems to forget. For low con bots it can definitely be better than the non-uniques. But you can get them at 116 str, so even for pure str bots that is 10 levels.
