It just showed [8] when I'm level 66... Went to the workshop, and I didn't have 8 points.

Did you change equipment or something? Maybe Ender accidently made the bonus's count.

I don't change equipment so I can't check for myself.

Did another account of yours have 8 points when you re-logged/multi-logged?

If you received 0 exp from a fight, the value was being overwritten with your opponent's points to spend (don't ask).
