The energy offset stat has been replaced with energy ratio, which is defined as total energy gained divided energy regen'd.

However, when a bot that has just been lifted from NC status scores its gains its first energy by attacking, before it regens any hourly energy, it shows an energy ratio of 0.00, which should be NaN in my opinion, since anything divided by 0 is NaN. Of course, like arguing you need to get 1 loss for the 100.0 ratio trophy, which you atm can unlock without incurring any losses, this argument is pretty much boring and pointless semantics. Sorry.

With matrix algebra you could use the QR method to construct the Moore-Penrose pseudoinverse and define a/0 as 0. Ender just forgot to mention he did exactly that ;)

Mathematically speaking, no, you can't divide by zero. And your increase (1) divided by 0 does not = infinity.

I always thought a sideway 8 = infinity.....
