When i get hit for 0, my armor still loses dura. Surely if you're hit for 0, it should have no effect on armor

Your opponent's weapon is still making physical contact with your armor in this case. Though your armor mitigates any damage your bot receives, the armor itself is damaged because it is taking the brunt of the blow.
