I created a clan with my level 74 closed beta bot, bizzynaut. then i promoted my new open beta bot(this one). should we be able to promote someone to owner if they cant technically start a clan themselves?

How's that a flaw? You're the owner. You decide who gets promoted.

ah yes you have to be level 50 to start a clan, so you should have to be 50 to own one!

I suppose this could lead to a 'shitstorm' of new clans, owned by lvl 5 noobs, because high level trainers are bored and want to have a laugh. Not exactly a big deal imo.

I see your point, but I'm okay with this. The level 50 restriction is just so that every new player isn't (immediately) able to make a clan and instead maybe joins one instead. If you have access to another higher level bot and want to do this to have a sub-50 owner, that's fine.
