This is an unfortunate side effect of when we were having problems with a certain individual. He would spam the forum, so we would forum mute him, but then he would bmail spam people, which was a pain in the ass to clean up, so I made forum mutes apply to bmail as well. Ideally there'd be a toggle for moderators to selectively mute between forum/bmail, but it's not really worth the implementation time for this right now so it'll unfortunately stay like that for a bit. Forum mutes are pretty rare anyway.

I don't spam anyone's bmail if I have to bmail I make sure it's appropriate who was that certain individual

We don't mention him by name anymore, don't want to think he's still acknowledged. We like to think he's dead and no longer bothers us.
