Actually, it was proven that it doesn't cause hallucinations. The time period when it was first made, people were hopped up on a lot of other shit, when it all mixed, there was no way to tell the effects. You can drink any absinthe these days, and you won't hallucinate.

it did lol, but seriously, ACTUAL absinthe is made with wormwood, its hallucanigetic, its why its illegal in almost every country, but yes you can buy other absinthe it just isn't made with wormwood. i can go to my liquer stoor and buy some and i wont go off my tree coz it doesn't have that stuff..
