This is a great idea.

I have seen it effective on other text based games similar to this in which they have a chat box on the side of the page where everyone online can chat to one another.

I don't know about you guys, but I find that I enjoy games alot more if I can talk to other people.

I sure hope this feature is added to Bots. I reckon it would just about make my year.

depends how it is implemented if it would be useful or not. but in the meantime why not go to the chat to talk to others, you can create your own channels if need be.

No, this essentially kills the chat function and the botmail function.

Dont be lazy.. essentially you want a shoutbox type of chat. Why? Theres not enough players using chat already and you got botmail for anything else.
