I think it would be a good idea to have this option available when initially registering an account.

Why? it's no big deal just to register after you log on for the first time...

Why? Because it's more convenient and it makes sense.

It should be optional though, some people are hesitant to leave their email address at any random website.

Convenience, really. It would be nice so you don't have to log into your email account every time you make a new bot.

I like the idea of a registration form without an email field, but I made a note to add this.

I like the idea of options. So having this as "optional" would be nice, not needed, but nice nevertheless.

I really don't think there's a point to this. There's so many things Ender could work on and this is unnecessary. People are encouraged to input their email to get the trophy, but I don't think it should be required.

Would it be so hard to put it in there and put something next to it like (optional)?

I am just speculating, it's possible that I don't know that much about programming ;)
