For end of month trophies you should be rewarded all antecedent trophies. Ergo, if I get a Plat trophy for monthly energy I should likewise receive the Gold/Silver/Bronze ones as well. It makes no sense not to reward them...should we purposefully handicap ourselves to obtain them? I think the effort required for the trophies should be rewarded aptly. /signed |

I posted this a few months back: If the top bots got each of the lesser trophies they would simply get too many trophy points each month. |

You never run out of points anyways. It's not the points anyways...they are easy to get. It's the completionist amongst us where you have to gimp and handicap yourself to get a lot of these trophies. If you worked hard to get Plat or Gold you should get the antecedent trophies. Besides, only one person can get a lot of the plat trophies so it isn't like points would become abundant. It would give a nice boost / incentive beyond what we all ready have to get #1. It's stupid not to award the other trophies. Makes no sense whatsoever. |

If you only buy tier 1 buffs then yes it is pretty difficult to run out of points, but most players buy the tier 2 buffs. Anyway, it makes it more of a challenge to get the most trophies. Instead of just raising your wins or whatever until you hit the top and resetting to go for another category, you actually have to plan which trophies to go for each month to maximise the number of new trophies you can pick up with one reset. Eg. you might decide to go for top 100 con/int/level together in the one run, and then next month go for top 100 str/dex/wins. If you got all the lesser trophies, it would just be a matter of grinding until you got to the top or top 10, and then resetting and going for another category. For me, it's more enjoyable to plan and aim for certain goals, rather than just grinding ftw. |

If you compete in any competition you only receive 1 trophy. Usain Bolt only wins a gold medal if he comes first, he doesn't also collect a silver & bronze. |

That's true. It only takes two plats and a gold to buy a Tier I buff every day for 30 days. Last month end I received four top monthly plats, and a few assorted golds/silvers etc. If I got all trophies for each of those categories (gold, silver bronze) I'd have recieved 1260 points from those four categories alone. 30 Tier II buffs would cost me 1050 points. So basically. yeah. If you really want to get all the trophies, you might have to hold back a bit. And if people don't catch up to you, there's always reset. |

I am not sure if this guy is retarded or not.. exactly how are you gimping yourself by getting more trophy points? So you have to work harder to get them obviously, but I highly doubt your sole motivation to getting a platinum trophy is the points. |

I don't see what he is complaining about.. if you only play to get trophies then you can just choose which one you aim for each month.. this just sounds like a whine about not being able to use the buffs you want. |
