"Onlining is generally considered annoying and while I have no plans to remove it, I also don't want to encourage it. That was the idea of the naming of the "Dickhead" trophy by the way, as a sort of means of teaching new players it's frowned upon by many players, but allowed."

so my idea, would work with that but it would alo disencourage onlining
and that is:
Onlining to have negative affect on the attacking bot! so it could be loss of experience, loss of energy, loss of kudos (not a problem for higher levels tho).
to many people online because there is no adverse effects
so they would do it once for the trophy but then not again
wot do you guys think?

I online people when they annoy me by sneaking in attacks on my xp whores. I don't see why you need to give them any more encouragement to do it. |
|
Also, there is already a reduction in the amount of kudos you take. |

It's the nature of a game. What you want to do is basically you would want to remove the element altogether which is just absurd. I think the penalties are well enough as they stand now. |

Hm, I don't exactly want to discourage it either. :) |

you dnt wanna remove, you dont wanna encourge it and you dont wanna discourage it? |

Right. I'm pretty happy with it's current state. Onlining has always been a somewhat contentious part of the game. For better or worse, you are able to do it, though with some penalty. I think it has the right balance as it exists now. |

Onlining does suck if it's targeted at you, but it's fun to fuck with people. |
