I'd like to suggest a colour scheme for battles. When I watch the battles I see the damage my bot is doing etc but sometimes it's harder to see.

I suggest having colours for different ranges of hits, for example:

from 0 - 20: blue from 21 - 50: green from 51 - 75: orange from 76 - 100: red from 100 - 150: light red

That's the kind of thing I was thinking of

Turn up the brightness of your screen

When I watch the battles

You watch the battles? o_0

Try using less Spirit of Wolf.

believe or not I thought of that already. I thought it might make the battle screen easier to read at a glance, rather than just green. It's a suggestion.

Good idea actually, would be easier to tell how hard you're hitting when the battle is sped up

You mean color coding the entire line of damage?

" [you] melted [opponent] into a puddle of liquid metal with its answerer. (370 damage) "

Or just the amount of damage? The whole line would be too much i think.. The line mentioning the shape your opponent is in is colour coded as well.

I'd be fine with the damage dealt, the grey number, becoming color coded depending on how hard you hit.

ADD IT TO THE "NEVER LIST"!!!!

Draoi's logo/clown-barf problems aside, I think the main problem with this is determining the scale. If everyone always hit 1-100 (or any other fixed range that all bots fell into), it would be fairly easy to do sometihng that got brighter on one end of the spectrum (this is why colors for ratios and "opponent health status" work). Since damage can vary so much between bots (one could hit for 20-40 while another could hit for 200-400), there's no single static scale that would work universally.

Now that I think about this some more though (and perhaps this is what you were suggesting), one way this could potentially work is by creating a dynamic scale based on how much damage you do. E.g., if your bot does 200-400 damage, a scale within that range would be used: hitting low 200s would be darker, hitting upper 300s would be brighter.

This is really just a bit of eye candy though and I don't think many people would even notice it, so consider this something I'd do, but it's low priority.
