It would expand possibilities of customizing/personalizing profiles if images could be included via markdown. Also, forum would be more interesting with images :)

I would like it implemented, but I don't think it would lead to interesting discussions, the opposite actually. |

Howcome? |

Pictures don't add to a discussion, and if you really need to convey an image we can still do links with a href. A lot of forums have gone terribly same-y from the same reaction pictures and memes being posted over and over again. That can't happen to a strictly text forum and I like it that way. |

Maybe forum isnt strictly necessary, but i'd like to be able to use images in profiles. Don't get me wrong, i love old school ascii. But its time for actual penises. |

Huge no on forums oh God that would get ugly. Profiles would be good. |

I have reservations about images in both forums and profiles. My instinct is that linking is sufficient for forums. My concern with profiles is that for every person that utilizes them well, there will be 100 that don't, which leads into the whole MySpace free-form profile vs. Facebook standardized profile debate. |

Ok, so communism it is ;) |

I think you mean dictatorship. ;) |

I play other games where they allow pictures on profiles and it's more often ugly, stupid or boring than good. Profiles have two pictures already, any more is superfluous imo. And a double hell no to forum images or signatures, I play this game for it's simplistic style, an I don't want to see what you think is cool all the time. |

Just because true communism never works and has always resulted in those countries becoming a dictatorship or militarism country(in which they still call themselves communist) doesn't mean they're the same thing. |
