Hi guys, I'm an old player trying out this renewed game xD

My idea sounds like this: forum pages should be cut in peaces, like 20 posts per page. This will remove that endless scrolling to the last post :)

In the main forum section, right above(or below) the last poster's nick(and link to his profile) there could be a "Go to the first unread post" link. This idea is being used in many websites and it is very neat :)

Yeah and there should be like a thumbs up/down button on each thread and post xP

My two cents:

- It'd be nice if there's a link that opens a thread and takes you straight to the first 'N' post.

- As a user i don't like pagination. Too many clicks, and no benefit.

Would you rather click endlessly through stuff like this?
[first][previous][1][2][3][4] 5 [6][7][8][9][10][next][last]

Or just hit your space or end-key?


Also, what i noticed from other forums; when a thread consists of many pages, people tend to not read them anymore. They glance over the first page, and immediately go to the last page to add their comment.

Agreed. I cba to go through all the pages, but if it's all in a row in a single page, i'll eventually read it all one by one.

Perhaps a forum option that can change between pages or a single one? This way each user could arrange the forum as they like

I support the current forum operation with the exception of how the 'N' works. Jans' idea with the goto function would be nice as well.
