Rewarding people for trophies reward players for their accomplishments, why not do it? It's a nice change that would benefit the players that have invested a lot of time into this game.

And the majority of the people that have this many platinums have donated a lot ;)

I think buffs are too overpowered as it is, so making them more easily available gets a thumbs down from me.

I agree with Jan's, there is only so much benefit that players should receive.

They suggestion wouldn't improve the value of the buff, it would only make them easier to receive. It takes a lot of time to get platinum trophies, they are accomplishments in the game. This rewards players for their work and time put in.

Anyone can buy a buff. The benefit is always there.

Think about it though, you can only reset your bot every 30 days. You have to put a months worth of time to get 13 platinum points. The more hours you play the more activity the game has. Activity is how the game survives.

The bots community (for the most part) is a rather friendly one. With a little time and effort anyone can rake up platinums. You yourself just said 13 plats is easily obtainable. With a little effort, any player (new or old) can accomplish this, it just takes knowledge of the game. Why not give something back to those that have obtained it?

You have to look at the effort it took to obtain those resources. Why not reward the ones that have put in the time and effort? Anyone (again with knowledge of the game) can put in time and get plats.

buffs are already OP, no need to make them cheaper.

Just donate and you can have the same reward.

Donations keep the game going - He's not getting paid to provide this game.

Anyone with 30 or more plats probably isn't struggling to achieve what they want to in general, it is new guys that run out of points - those with no access to the infrastructure to get tons of plats.

I think this would reward existing, obviously good players for doing nothing that they weren't going to do anyway. There are already benefits to getting plats, I don't think we need any more.

I think buffs and trophy points are already too important, to the extent that people who want to score have to plan ahead, I would prefer them to be more a fun, smaller achievement and less of a 'I must have x amount of plats before I can start doing what I want to' (I felt this a lot when I made be lowbies to score on for the month)

I leveled Esv to 250 and reseted to make it a low level scorer so I get what you mean fishwick :P

Awful suggestion, like everyone has said buffs are cheap enough.

I don't think you guys get it. Ville said "Rasing Buff Discounts". Rasing is a variant spelling of razing (rase and raze being the base words), which means to "remove by scraping, rub, scrape out, erase,". While it looks like he wants the buff discounts to be increased, he is actually saying that we should erase buff discounts altogether.
