Stat requirements are not enforced after an item has been equipped - it's advantageous at any level to equip the best weapon possible, then reallocate some points from dex into str or con.

This will be fixed as a part of the whole "equipment damage" update. Doing this will still be possible, but much less attractive because equipment you don't have the stats for will take damage from every hit.

(Were there other penalties too?)

Your weapons would miss uncontrollably if you did not meet the stat requirements (i think).

Well that was just part of requirements.

For every stat you were missing, you'd have a certain % less chance to hit, and for every stat you were missing, armor would lose a certain % of defense.

No HE is not because he is not a woman. He's a man, who makes decisions and follows through with them regardless of the implications they may cause.

This just shows that I'm flexible and can adapt to new situations as they arise.
