This is mostly to improve people who play on multiple browsers/tablet. Currently if you have a small window open you'll see something like "The battle is over. AgN14 is exhausted and gives you 66 energy (2,014 remaining)." My idea is to have an option in the workshop maybe that pushes the energy number all the way to the left or perhaps above that line as an option. So instead of "The battle is over. AgN14 is exhausted and gives you 66 energy (2,014 remaining)." it'd just display "2,014 energy remaining." This way you can see the energy display on all browsers/tablets without having to move right to see the remaining energy. I think it'd be way easier to see is all.

This specific problem is also one of my gripes that prompted my suggestion for the font size scaling, would be nice to see any fix for this particular one seeing as it affects anybody with a smaller window even if only playing one bot. One minor tweak I'd add is to maybe put the opponents remaining energy on it's own line, then the flavor text + amount stolen could also remain. We do get kind of a lot of fluff and bloat in the fight summary, but that's also where a lot of the soul is. Actually with that in mind.. another related idea, let's not double space the fight summary text? It makes more sense for the turns to differentiate them easier, but seems excessive for post-fight. It gets especially atrocious with something that has pieces of broken gear + fight limit with all the red text. |

+1 This annoyed me while I was still playing on 3 or more bots, even when you change width the opponents name is a factor. An idea I like, well done Zal. |

An idea I like, well done Zal. You're welcome :) Now it just has to become reality ^_^ |

Thanks for the suggestion and discussion. The high-level idea makes sense ("make it easier to see key battle output in a smaller window"). Whether that will be accomplished from changing the text order, removing line breaks, a workshop setting for battle output verbosity, or something else - I don't know, but I'll add this to my backlog and think about how to improve it. |
