it's this easy.

Step 1: click clans on the side of the page.
Step 2: look at the top 10 clans, rest will most likely be dumpers
Step 3: decide whether or not you are going to score
Step 4: depending on the decision for step 3, pick a clan with an open spot to score, or just choose on with an awesome name and click apply
Step 5: wait to get accepted.

Bonus Step: if knocked back, rage on the forums and apply for second preference clan
