Looking to join a clan to test energy ;p

I know this is for the questions section but I'm too lazy to make a new topic. I didn't seem to find the answer to this:

What happens if you leave the clan, will the energy remain in the clan total or be lost? And if you join another clan will you have you're previous energy or start anew?

Anyways for those of you who don't know the answer, Alan from H-Town replied:
When you leave, it turns to 0. Clan loses the energy.
If you join another, you start with 0.
If you join back to the original clan, the energy is gone.

I immediately though Liverpool Football Club :P
