Well. I'd probably type "po ionsep". It would of worked to. If you can't spell it, don't type it. Google has a program that reads books. It can't interpret everything.

Just get an alienware computer, that's a basses laptop right there. Although they also have desktops if you prefer that.

I prefer desktops, bought I have no cash. I have been looking into alienware for some time, but it's possible I'll stick with Dell.

You know alienware supports the same browsers as Dell and also uses windows. Alienware computers just have better hard drive, better video cards, and better resolution (depending on what alienware computer you get). Plus they look pretty freaked awesome.

Dell brought alienware.. and they arn't so good they have allot of trouble with them.

I looked at the m11x recently julia as I wanted a small, light weight decent laptop to carry around. Whilst it is beautiful the thought of paying all that money & still having to buy an external optical drive annoyed me. So I passed on it :P

I'm really puzzled by the amount of people who's first reaction to my MBA is 'but dont you miss an optical drive??'

Eh yea... sure... i miss those annoyingly loud spinning discs. Ah, how fun it was, the process of burning stuff to blank discs. Nice and slow. And then using them; awesome access time! Waiting for the fucker to speed up so it can retrieve the list of files. Oh and the space it required to store dozens, hundreds of casings. Trying to match which disc goes with what case. Hours of fun!

No seriously... What on earth do you still need one of those things for? If you're a gamer, i understand, but on a small laptop? really?

I have 2TB of external storage and a number of 32GB flashdrives. Silent, compact, reliable, and no need for extra size and weight of a clumsy mechanical device. U! S! B! U! S! B!

In the rare case i do need something like a dvd (happened exactly once during the year i have this macbook) there's always the option of mounting an image on a virtual device.

It's essential for me as I spend over 1/2 the week in a hotel room using a dongle which makes streaming & dling content virtually impossible. So I burn a couple of films at the weekend & watch them during the week :P

Still, wouldnt you prefer a large flash drive instead though? There's pretty large ones nowadays.

I've got a pretty large flash drive in my pants that all the ladies prefer OHYEAH

flash drive doesn't help if you record direct from the TV.

hey rose, if you want to get a laptop just to carry around, maybe an alienware isn't the best value =p and it's still a bit heavy to put in a purse hahaha
