OH GEE NO EXP!

Just because he's 20 levels lower than me I get no exp because SOME PEOPLE would abuse this and rape themselves to get xp, and I get fucking handicapped? RAGE, RRRRAAAAGGGGGGEEEEEE, RRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!111

I'm pretty sure this is just an artifact of the exp formula. How could it be abused if you got exp from being attacked by bots many levels below yours?

And I figured it was to stop people making ratio whores at the minimum level to fight their main bots and raping themselves for wins/exp.

So yeah, an artefact of the exp formula? Is this going to be changed or what? Because it is affecting me more and more often, I assume it also happens to other people with high level bots. I'm missing out on some good exp here and it's starting to really annoy me.

Indeed, my int bot has the same problem. Although not that many significantly lower levels attack it. It would be nice.

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure if your level*0.8 > attacker's level you will get 0 exp.

I think there's an old bug thread that goes into this issue. I'm pretty sure the originally formula was actually capable of returning a negative number for cases where your opponent was a much lower level, resulting in negative exp. Anyone care to dig it up?
