Can the Questions, Hints, Suggestions and Sales forums stay free of bored little retards please?

I'm fed up with seeing suggestions spiraling down to full blown retardation in like 3 posts. If you feel the need to call some anonymous player a gay homosexual, use bmail, or have a go at the Complaints forum, that's what it's for.

Also, this is where I think user-voted Reddit-style forums would be nice (discussion is threaded and people can upvote/downvote individual posts). Relevant/insightful posts would be voted up and the spam/nonsense voted down (in theory). Having this setup on some (not all) of the more serious subforums would be nice.

Vote-based is nice for some forums, but in a game where there's always rivalry between groups, it can be tricky i think.

I created the skipper thread to try and keep flamespam out of the decent threads, just because it was fun doesn't mean I'm a complete troll.

Yeah, especially with this being a (relatively) smaller community, I could see a lot of potential problems with it. I think I'll end up experimenting with it at some point anyway though, way down the road when all the more important things are finished.

Speaking of which, when can we expect an update? Anything? It's been like almost 2 months ;)

Working on the achievements update today. We'll see if I can finish it up.

I was eating breakfast this morning and tried to read the forum while logged in on my phone. I couldn't keep up with the new posts coming. All because of skipper and DNM. Highly annoying. I can stand some "Hobo" spam, but come on. I would read a thread and 3 more posts would come in a whole new thread.
