complaints

I find this system wholly unsatisfactory & it is hindering my clan experience.

There are very few targets I have perhaps 2 or 3, & bear in mind I will attack anything that yields a positive energy outcome for me. But more annoyingly each of these rapes take approximately 45 - 60 minutes and I gain roughly 500 energy ... if I'm lucky.

aww, cmon hun, it was your choice to level so fast, playing normally would get you to lvl 80 max, so just attacking, having 10,5 int all the time and just raping the shit out of everything that moves. and at lvl 80, theres alot of targets. reset has been 2 months ago, im afraid youre just ahead of natural game flow.

buffs might make it faster for some people to level, so you might get targets faster.

 

oh I'm not referring to this bot, this is an int bot & will never harvest energy.

My other though is no added int & is built to harvest. But I rarely log her anymore as I find it so boring :|

On topic, I'm with Rose. If you aren't in the 30-80 level range there is nothing to do except train :S

so youre ahead of game, in 1 or 2 months, targets will come. will they be easy to beat, well that depends on your bot.

 

Still the issue will be the same as the full rapes take so long & yield so little reward.

So the issue isn't really the lack of targets/energy, I guess that I really do not like 'real wars'.

 

depending what you want. if you do a 50-50 rape on lvl under 100 it can be over in under an hour. 500 energy per hour...thats good amount.

unless youre doing tricks, like rivan does.

I agree with Rose. This energy system is boring. When I run out of targets that have 1k+ energy all I am left to do is to wait every houre freaking to kill whores and.

It boring and in between I have nothing else to do cept rape bots for wins. Not to mention about whole fast lvling thing.

About rivan tactics, lets be fair, its fighting whores. I dont have anything against whores since im was alwaise for "whore wars", but what pisses me off that ppl that said "I DONT WANT WHORES IN BOTS 4" are supporting this tactic of getting energy.

Clanscore system was perfect IMO, the more time you put in game the more CS you had, now days Im online for 7-8 houres and I get crap coz there are no targets to attack, and even if I attack someone with high ratio ill lvl up in 2 fights and have even less targets to fight afterwards.

I even came to the point of loging in every 3 hores to check if I can gather 200-300 energy then log off for another couple of houres. If I didnt have my int bot online most of the day I wouldnt log this bot for few days in a row.

bingo! exactly what i was starting to do. Call me sad but when I do play I like to sit down for hours & rape, this system just does not facilitate that.

 

It is annoying to log in and find out that everyones already been attacked and there's no energy left to gain.

I did that and look at me now, close to lvl 85 and not much bots to attack , and even if I attack other high ratio bots I will lvl up even more and have little to no bots to attack.

Right now I am trying to fight as little as I can so that I dont lvl up and wait for some bots to come on my lvl so I can finally get energy amount equal to the time I spend online.

well dunno what then, im just attacking everyone and their mom, hoping that there will be atleast 5 targets every level along the way. i dont collect 20 energy every hour, i find it lame. and i dont transfer energy, cause well, i dont like that either.

i just fight, and i guess i hope there will be enough of high level bots. i see that for example civilian clan, out of 20, they got like 1 or 2 bots that are higher than me, and that surely sucks balls, but thats just how it is. with buffs it is really easy to gain levels, so i just kinda believe that there will always be people in clans, that are higher level than me.

 

Energy sucks really hard. Tito got the point, if you build a hardcore bot to harvest energy, you beat the shit out of most bots and if you're "lucky" to beat ratio bots with energy you lvl up really fast and lost all the targets... CS system was perfect and project-x need to make some adjustments to gain more players... I only find train interesting atm...

The energy system has some room for improvement and of course it's to be expected that some people won't like it. You can't please everyone. All I can do as an admin is design a system that I think is fun and then see if people enjoy it. There will always be a vocal minority that will speak out and in this case there are plenty of active players that enjoy the energy system. Sorry if you don't like it.

 

Contra-opinion; i like the energy system.

CS system was perfect

It was perfect in the way it allowed cheaters to outperform normal players by miles. An endless supply of easy score. Perfect..

The energy system isn't perfect either, but it's better than the old.

 

I personally prefer the BOTS2 ClanScore System

Every bot gets 20 energy per houre, but when you win fight you get 2 energy instead of 20.

My issue with bots2 wasn't the 1 hit whores. It was the fact that the one hit whores were mass produced by scripts.

So ye, cheating was the issue not whores.

But whatever that's the old game oggy, let it go. I am more interested in making this game enjoyable to play :)

 

i remember i spent like 300 stars to buy mine whores clans soo i dont know if they were produced by scripts coz i bought lots of bots from clans like immo and monkey ... but its cool let bots2 go away :D and still energy system sucks ! theres isnt enough players for that :)

The energy system is far from perfect as of yet, but it has a lot of potential. Bear in mind the suggestions that were floating around the forums last month....

IMO: a few 'subtle' changes can make it way more worthwile, in essence to make it more interesting to fight real bots, not whores. And also perhaps avoiding/making it illegal to harvest one's own bots.

Possible changes could include things like: - clan heists - lower effective int - less xp for fighting real bots (or higher energy against them not to harm XP) - 0.0 (and perhaps 0.1) bots do not get energy

I have to agree. I think the new system is a pain in the ass, and it's hard to motivate my self.

1. If you take out the fact that I compete with Rivan on targets, I still only manage to get 500 energy or so pr hour. That's all targets from 76 to 95-96. But Rivan is not the only one needing those targets, so I see my self getting around 100-200 most of the time.

2. I can make whores. As of now Ender hasn't pulled the plug on this yet. So you can do what Eternal does and make full whore clans and gain shitloads of energy. It's totally legit, but really only the best way to gain energy, and it's totally worth the time and effort you get out of it.

I don't have the answers, but I hope it will change down the road.

The energy dumping is totally worth the time. With not scoring almost the entire first month I managed to work my way up to 3rd/4th in total energy with only 3 dumping bots. At lvl140 too and I hardly got any energy from other targets. Only 2-3 hours playtime a day. Feels like I'm doing something wrong though when fighting my own bots to transfer energy.

I disliked the "cs system" because it catered to those clans that could either afford to purchase their whores and/or build them. This left EVERYONE else out in the cold because of "diplomacy".

Here, Everyone can attack anyone and "harvest" their energy thus allowing for a more PvP style format which I think the game was suppose to be in the first place.

Now I know everyone loves big numbers and they hate not winning 99% of the fights and taking everything and anything and keeping it for themselves but this new system isn't designed for that and we're just going to have to change our way of thinking.

 

i enjoy the new system but of course its not going to please everyone. im sure that most of the complaints are coming from clans that aren't meeting their own goals or aspirations.

 

Actually I think the complaints are coming from people with bots in the answerer zone where your only targets are other answerers or freaked answerers, and people who don't want to have to build an army of reverse rapers to get score.

I like the energy system, from lvl 21 to 80.

 

put it this way. bots2 clanscore was based on fighting really easy whores but you needed the wars to make anything honestly happen ( 2 cs per win ) but if you took cs and put it the way shit works now it would be better. allowing everyone to attack the bot. no wars needed. however. ender didnt want to remake bots2 he made bots4 same fighting style new energy system

energy system now works from 20 to 80. in 2 months it will be 20 to 100.

in half a year it might work all the way to lvl 130. the game evolves really fast, yesterday we got our first lvl 200 bot, how long it took ender to get to lvl 200? (or ma for that instance, i think he got it first).

u guys cant start playing a new game and expect same playing field as in old game. give it time to grow.

130+ can really complain for targets. looks at HoF monthly energy. look whos in the top 10. Saiyan? a 140 bot in top 10.

then again if you think about it, how many people in the top 10 use energy whores for so call " legal tactic " i think what most hate about this game isnt the fact its energy now instead of cs. its the fact people pull the bullshit of using energy whores to fight much higher lvl bots to transfer energy. legal or not, bots2 never had clan score transfer problems. just auto clickers.

I think that until we can stop the way people are fighting lower lvl bots against their higher lvl bots then basically evry1 is trying to get third and forth for their clans cuz the top two are doing just that at an alarming rate.... And plz tell me what the motivation would be to compete for third and forth place..?? I got 6 "whores". I think that's about it. But as you can see from my total so far I really need it.

Personally I loved the idea of whores...had fun making ratio whores and making even more whores off of the ratio whores. I think it adds another objective to the game. And I also enjoyed wars. If someone pissed u off one could just set yourself hostile and hope they do the same and let the better clan win :) but this is not bots 2. This is bots 4 and I am very very happy Ender has brought back this awesome game. Basically he saw flaws in the cs system and created what he feels is a better system. I think it's very cool to have the game redone by a past player. He's doing a fantastic job and I love the updates. But I sure did enjoy the wars and whores :))

 

Well, with the new energy system it does encourage you to donate so you can have stash space on your 'dumpers'.

exactly what i said last month. money = first place. look at everyone in eternal, look who has bought stars and how many stars were bought. and yet more than 90% of those stars go on to whore bots for them.

real wars was a great idea, but having to buy your way to 1st place, is just fucking stupid.

Tintin is as far as i know, the only person in Civilian using whores the way eternal does. he is 1 person out of 20 in the clan. eternal probably has 15 people doing this out of 20.

either way, energy system is made for those who are willing to pay oout of wallet for the edge.

I have noticed a few people mention that the old system relied on people buying whores and whore clans which meant other less financially supported clans got left out but I believe this to be the same with this game, people such as rivan are still purchasing bots in order to energy store, its a fact of life with a game that involves money that stuff like this will happen.
Its a new game, new rules, new system to stfu and get playing instead of sounding like a bunch of bitches.

• Nobody could quit the clan
• My clan generated more per hour, because of members

I see "Rivan" online all the time. Or at least somebody fighting him. It's stupid and a half.

Energy = Lots of energy going around. Nah, it's just Rivan close to pulling 800k energy in a month. That's just stupid. I have nothing against donating, but if donating is what is needed to have a chance to win.

no donating is part of the key to what you and members of eternal are doing. look at the whore clans, mainly rivans clan. 2 stars on each bot if im not mistaken. used to swap out armors to lessen repair cost and make fights faster. the lower lvl clans are easy to make. dr who is lvl 32 with almost 60k energy says he isnt using whore clans, yet i find that to be a lie. unless he is using level 20s to attack his lvl 32 bot, he would be atleast 38-42 right now if not higher.

Tintin, at this point i dont care if replying to these people gets me kicked from civilian, but to sit here and have a clan lie about the tactics they use and who uses it, just is pure fucking stupidity.

 

I have lower level bots that i use for energy on this one (not very often because i'm lazy) and i have exactly 0 stars, so stars are not a necessity to do it, it's an excuse.

yeah it's useful, not arguing that, but it isn't something that you have to have that people want to act like it is. kudos buff train a few times during an energy transfer is all that's needed.

 

but yet if you swap the armors out you wont need that train at all to get the kudos. saves time by not having to do that.

 

because clearly, two minutes of training is going to add up to in-surmountable amounts of energy.

 

5 secs or less per dump fight so 60 secs in a minute. 5 secs per fight = 12 fights which in return equals 108-144 energy dumped a minute. seems like a decent amount per minute when you have a dump clan full of bots ready to dump. i mean if you have a full clan. 50-60 dumping. you get 100 fights per bot so 20 bots 100 fights each 2k fights so now you figure in the energy gained from that. 900-1200 per bot so 18k-24k if my math is right. oh and thats just form one clan dumping, then you have the targets at your lvl that you can fight plus other clans to use for dumping. seems so easy to win every month with dumping and not even attacking your lvls.

 

This particular discussion has been had before, result was that anyone with time can do what Rivan is doing, stars don't enable this, they make a donators like easier, holy shit that's what they are supposed to do!

ye but there is a valid point, how does that work? do they go into energy hof also?

that means u dont lose energy if u go out of clan, if clanless people have energy also. then, that would mean u can hop clans without losing any energy. it complicates stuff, alot.

 

I would like seeing the ability to keep your total energy but you would lose your monthly energy

My view on how this could work is:

- every bot generates energy
- only bots who are in a clan can harvest energy
- you only rank in the HoF if you are in a clan
- energy reset to 0 if you leave a clan

 

Bots in clans generate 40 per hour bots out of clans generate 20. Non clanned bots can't get energy from other bots.

This should all be in suggestions really.

No it doesn't stop the energy dumping, but it does increase the field of targets and somewhat negate the need to utilise that tactic.

@ active x : you are also right we aren't discussing that, but also it doesn't really hinder the tactic at all. In fact I believe it would easily increase the usage of dumping only difference now they have a ton more of targets before having to go to use the whores to dump. Also included their whores, or atleast most of them, attack all the energy at their levels and somewhat higher so really they just sit with extra that is outside the attack limit or gets dumped onto another bot in the clan.

 

Let it go, man.

 

Energy dumping is result of far from perfect energy system. Fix the system and you fix the dumping.

Now, FFS, stop focusing on dumping and focuse on how to make energy system better.

Here. I have an idea. Lets agree that some people hate the CS system and some people hate the Energy system. So from this conclusion why don't we consider making a new system that takes the best parts of both systems AND also adds some new functions.

Also i think the easiest way to stop people whoring energy is by making it so that you can only gain energy when you attack. and i know some people are gonna say its rediculous and energy will be so hard to get and blah blah blah.......but it will be balanced for everyone and thus fair........everyone hates compromise!
