MLB has players from all around the world playing in it. South America, Europe, Asia, cuba etc. Also, we didnt have ALOT of our BEST players playing in that tournament considering it was going on as our season was going on. lol |

The best part about the dutch becoming world champion? We dont give a fuck about baseball. I'm sure there's a national league, but it gets no airtime. The day after the finals people were like "oh we were in that? and we won? oh. cool." Anyway.. yay Cardinals ^^ |

lol i didnt even know that there was a world championship...other than the olympics. and the U.S. players that competed in the IBAF baseball world cup were all minor league players at the time of the tournament lol there were no major leaguers that were on the team. and the minor leaguers came in 4th :P |
