Just wondering. I'm pretty much done all mine.

Started mine about a month ago,last of the bits n bobs in the next couple of days.This is the 1st year that ive got my ass in gear and sorted things out,normally its the 23rd/24th,which is a nightmare.

I've yet to do it :P

i dont do christmas shopping i give everybody in my family money its sooooo much easier and then they cant dislike what i buy them

I have my personal shopper do all mine.

I started end of November and I should be finished week before the big day.

Christmas shopping? I just let them buy it themselves... save me a lot of trouble, then I pay who ever bought it my share.

Meh. It's just a time to have some fun with family and eat some dinner for me now. It's also fun to see the smiles on the kids faces. Sure its all meaningless crap from a present standpoint but it would look pretty bad of me if I outright said to the kids "Santa Claus isn't REAL, CHRISTMAS IS JUST A CONGLOMERATION OF CRAP CORPORATIONS WANT YOU TO BUY SO THEY CAN DESTROY THE PLANET MORE WITH THEIR POLLUTING FACTORIES!".

I highly doubt a 5 year old can understand such a sentiment.

you don't have to tell them that Santa isn't real .. just that he is broke and has been bought by the corporations etc.
