This is annoying the heck out of me, and i can't find anything useful in the googles:

Like most of you, i'm using two browser windows. One main one, in which im typing this, and a secondary smaller window, i which i have fights going on.

In Windows OS, this works perfectly. You notice in the corner of your eye a fight is finished, and you either click with the mouse, or alt-tab / shortcut, to start another fight.

In Mac OS, it's slightly different. The keyboard-way is fine, but if you try to use the mouse, you have to click twice. Once to activate the window, and then again to actually click the link. You simply can't activate a link of an unfocused window! Anyone know a way around this annoyance?

If you´re lucky, maybe someone that acctully knows Mac can give you a more extensive answer.

Perhaps. Like I said Mac and it´s users are a mystery to me.

Don't know the answer, but superuser.com might be a good place to ask.

Thnx. I found the exact same question there, and it appears it's a non-changeable setting of applications..

Luckily i have Win7 installed as well :)

Sucks doesn't it? Didn't make a difference whether i used chrome or safari. It works with keyboard though, and keyboard > mouse. Just takes some more getting used to.

Its fine, I have win7 installed as well, on bootcamp. I use it more often than mac os, so i might as well remove that.

hmh if you use win7 more it would have been cheaper to just get a pc and install mac os x on it, i got that setup home with dual boot win 7 + mac os x 10.6

tho, this beast at work is just awesome. Mac pro ftw

its work effective to use vm ware for bots, because now i got 3 ie 6s on vm ware and all i have to do to get to them is press ctrl + left arror, so mac os x changes spaces. when boss comes i just press ctrl and arrow again and snap, im in mac os x. :D

I bought my MBA because of the hardware. It's sleek, light, the display is awesome, good battery time. I'm in love with the damn thing.

MacOS though, not so much. I mean, it's ok, but not better than Win7. I gave linux a try, but i can't be bothered with it. Maybe Chrome OS will be interesting :)

well jans, depends for what u use it.

for my work, meaning acrobat, illustrator, corel, photoshop, in design, preps, pitstop and shits like that, Mac OS X is IMO better, alot better!

we have pc here too, hp with i7, 8gb ddr3, but when u run 5 files in illustrator it is slower than mac, by alot.

so while i admit, i am better used to windows, for work efficiency Mac os x is much much better.
