I was assuming you were referring to the amount of level-ups? There wasn't any level stated so there isn't really any frame of reference for an EXP-record.

If so, I've experienced 21 levels with one fight, but I don't even think 21 was a record. Still, that's impressive.

I've gotten 160k exp at level 9 from a fight.

So that would put me at level 24 or so.
